Mental health remains one of the most pressing yet under-addressed public health challenges globally, particularly in low and middle-income countries where stigma, limited awareness, and inadequate access to services continue to affect communities. Despite increasing attention toward mental health research, community voices are often underrepresented in the design, implementation, and dissemination of research initiatives.

Recognizing the importance of collaborative dialogue and shared learning, the Mesh Community Engagement Network will bring together researchers, practitioners, community representatives, youth advocates, and policymakers to explore the role of community engagement in advancing mental health research and action.
