Welcome all! I'm Helen the Mesh Manager. I'm a CE Consultant based in the UK and I've been working with the team at Eh!woza and Interfer to run these events.
Hi All. I am Nabeel, a Wellcome Engagement Fellow that runs a participatory storytelling and research company and the Co-Director of Pivot Collective, an organization committed to egalitarian collaborations, participatory research/ knowledge translation and Mental Health.
I've been working with MESH (Helen) and Eh!Woza on this exciting venture which we hope develops into an active, supportive community of practice.
I am Ragil Dien, a public and community engagement manager for Eijkman-Oxford Clinical Research Unit (EOCRU) in Jakarta, Indonesia. At the moment, we are doing research about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers and communities by using the participatory visual method (digital diaries). We are also running a podcast program on health issues, especially COVID-19
I am Barthalomew Wilson, the Social Mobilization and Community engagement (SMC) Manager at the Partnership for Research on Vaccines and Infectious Diseases in Liberia (PREVAIL), a clinical research program between the governments of Liberia and the United States. I lead advocacy, communication, and community engagement activities for all PREVAIL research projects in Liberia, including our recent projects on COVID-19 and vaccines. My goal is to build trust and sustainable partnerships with stakeholders while ensuring that research is informed by local realities and community perspectives.
